On hot days, take an empty milk or orange juice container and cut off the top to make it a cube shape. Fill it wih water and put it in the freezer to make a giant ice cube!

Why dye egg's just on Easter? We had a Memorial Day party, and everyone was asked to bring a red, white and blue dish. I figured that everyone would bring a baked dish/dessert so I decided to dye egg's red, white and blue. Perfect for a brunch party or even a summer barbeque.

My 5 year old daughter invites alot of kids over to play, as all kids do they tend to get bored with toys and each other after awhile. So, to keep the afternoon fun, I keep craft supplies handy in ziploc bags organized by craft--stuff to make crowns in one, mobiles in another etc.. When the time comes that they need something to do I can just pull it out and it is ready to go. No fuss no muss.

We put up a small Christmas tree for our kids and they decorated it with plastic cookie cutters, which were much cheaper than buying ornaments. Once Christmas is over, we will use the cookie cutters with their Play-Doh.

When we took our 3-year old daughter to the zoo, we took lots of pictures of the animals. We made a small photo album just for her and it has become one of her favorite "books" to look through. She also loves to share her outing with others by showing them her album.
