A Cactus that Never Needs Watering

What you will need:

2 pieces of green paper (card stock)

Scissors

Black marker

Print this Page

Steps:

1. Take one piece of paper and trace your hand. Do the same thing with the other piece of paper.

2. Cut out both of the hand shapes.

3. In the center of one of the hands cut a line half way up from the bottom. On the other hand cut a line half way down from the top.

4. Use your marker to make small lines on both sides of each piece of paper.

5. Lower the piece of paper with the line cut on the bottom over the other piece, and slide them together. They should join at the two cut lines in a + shape.

6. And now you have a cactus that never needs watering. Enjoy!

That is a Good Idea!

If you want to poke holes in a can to make a luminary or another craft, fill the can with water and freeze it first. This makes pounding a nail into the can much easier.
