Creating Fossils

What you will need:

Crayons

Paper

Leaf

Steps:

1. Find a leaf on the ground that has recently fallen from a tree.

2. Place the leaf on a flat hard surface (your table will be fine).

3. Put the piece of paper on top of the leaf. You can have a parent hold the paper down so that the leaf is in the center of the paper.

4. Take a crayon and start coloring all over the piece of paper. If will feel bumpy when you color over the leaf. Press hard or your fossil will not show up.

5. Once the paper is completely colored, take the leaf out from under the paper. There will be the shape of the leaf where you colored crayon over it!

That is a Good Idea!

Why dye egg's just on Easter? We had a Memorial Day party, and everyone was asked to bring a red, white and blue dish. I figured that everyone would bring a baked dish/dessert so I decided to dye egg's red, white and blue. Perfect for a brunch party or even a summer barbeque.
