1. Collect some smooth, medium sized rocks.

2. Wash all the dirt off the rocks and dry them off.

3. Look very closely at the rocks you have collected and try to imagine what types of creatures they could be. Use your creativity!

4. Paint eyes, noses, ear, mouths, and any other features that will bring the rock to life.

5. Now, all that's left to do is to give your new pet a name. How about Rocky or Mr. Stone?!?

To keep the paint from rubbing off, you can coat the rock with clear varnish.
